Hide your orkut scraps from others in the network

Orkut scrapbook has become a very easy medium of conveying messages like instant messaging services. And, more often people do write personal and confidential information in the scrapbook, without thinking that others can also read their scraps. Its always advisable to use email or instant messaging for passing secret and intimate messages, instead of using your scrapbook.

But those who are addicted to orkut can have workaround to control the visibility of their scraps to others, thanks to Orkut Team . Its is very easy to control the visibility of your scraps to other people in the Orkut network. Click the "Settings" section in your Orkut profile page, this will take you to Orkut Settings page.


In this page go to the privacy tab and scroll down to bottom. Here you can see an option for enabling, who all can view your scraps. You can set it to friends, so that only friends can view the scraps. And, of course, do not forget to click the button save changes. You can also control who can write scraps in your scrapbook.
