Download Windows 8 Operating System - Developer Preview

Microsoft has released the Windows 8 Developer Preview, which is a pre-beta version of Windows 8 for developers.

This version consists of most of the new features and utilities available in Windows 8, basically targeting developers to get started with their application development strategies and activities to adapt in the new Windows environment.  But, Microsoft is not guaranteeing the stability and reliability of this developer preview edition of Windows 8. It must not be used in a production environment.

Windows 8 64 bit(x64) developer preview with developer SDK and tools (English), includes

• 64 bit Windows 8 developer preview operating system with windows SDK for Metro style apps.
• Microsoft Visual Studio 11 Express
• Microsoft Expression Blend 5
• and other 28 Metro style applications including the BUILD Conference app!

Windows 8 is the next big leap from Microsoft for widening their presence in mobile, tablets and desktop as well. Window 8 is currently available in developer preview, and you can download it from dev.windows.com.

Windows 8 has new UI, which is evolved from Windows Mobile 7 Metro user interface. I would like to share a theme which is available for Windows 7 desktop operating systems to get a feel of Metro UI and Windows 8 interface.
