As you install and run new softwares and games more and more temporary files will get generated in your computer and will eat up storage space and may result in reduced computer performance.
It is always better to do some house keeping work, periodically, in your computer to make sure that your pc is not having any unwanted files or data. You need to look into the application temporary locations, user and system temporary locations.
In order to delete unwanted files from your computer, go to My Computer and right click on your hard disk partition drive letter, for example "c:" and select properties and then choose Disk cleanup. This program can guide you to remove unwanted files from your computer.
