We would like to thank Google for awarding us page rank 6/10!. An incredible recognition, in fact. It was great moment for us, when we realize that our blog has been given 6/10 rank. I would like to share some tips, that would have helped us, to reach this point.

Providing your own content (the content is the King)

• Make the page simple for the Search Engines to read! (reduce unwanted JS and related animations)
• Try to provide maximum links to your own articles from your home page (reduce the number of outbound links to external sites)
• Spend some amount for adwords!.
• And of course being part of blogspot magic!

You guys can also comment few points, in case if I missed out something.

Add widgets to map your favorite places on your blog

Widgets can always add beauty to your blog, if it is chosen as per the needs and relevance of your blog content. You can find a lot of common widgets like, mybloglog, blogcatalog visitors widgets, flickr, picasa photo widgets etc. in many of the blogs.

Nomao has some thing not different but familiar idea put in a much more useful way. The widget from Nomao can have maps of your favorite places (with the help of Google Maps). This would really help bloggers to share their meeting places and events with readers. In order to own this widget for your blog, you just need to register with Nomao. Its a 3 field fill-in form. Blogger team has recently launched a new photo sliding portal for blogger. The portal named play.blogger.com will take care of showing the latest images uploaded by bloggers on blogspot platform dynamically. One pretty thing is that, they also link to the blog in which the image is displayed.


So If you have posted an article with a relevant image, it is sure that some people who are viewing play.blogger.com will see it and will visit your blog. Thus you will get more readers to your blog just being on blogspot platform.
But, you have to remember that they will show images only after applying family filters.

Video Blogging Made easy in Blogger with video direct uploading

Its a welcome step from Blogger team to have direct video uploading facility in blogspot platform. You can notice the new Add Video icon, near the Add Image icon.

In the earlier days, in order to embedd video we had to upload the video into YouTube or Google Videos and then embedd the code in blogger. Now we can have hassle free video blogging with this new video uploading feature.
