Permanently Delete Facebook Profile without violating terms of service

Facebook is one of the famous social networking site in the world. Facebook has enhanced lot of its feature by allowing user made applications to play around Facebook. I have came to know about so many people feeling that they are spending more time in Facebook, and slowly getting addicted to Facebook. In order to put an end to this addition, most of them would prefer to delete their Facebook profile.

Deleting Facebook profile is not so easy as you think, its a long process. If you go to the settings page you will get an option only to deactivate your account. The deactivation will disable your profile being viewed by others till you re-login to your Facebook account. Once you login, your profile will be reactivated.

One approach to block your profile permanently is by violating Facebook terms of use. Either by try to posting same text or link in people's wall and groups within short time, or by making friends request to more than two hundred people in a single stretch. And an extreme way is by putting indecent images or lewd pics in your profile and albums. But, this may not be a good way of dealing with your Facebook profile, as it would trash your impression among your friends.

The better way to delete your Facebook profile is by giving a request, to permanently delete your profile. In order to do this, you need to follow the link to make a request to permanently delete your Facebook account.

After clicking the link above, you have to confirm delete action by giving your password and solving one captcha.

Then you will get a message saying that your Facebook account will be Permanently deleted within 14 days.

But, later within this 14 days, if you wish to cancel your delete request, you can cancel the Facebook account deletion request.

Now experience Real-time Search in Twitter

Twitter has spear headed the micro blogging revolution by allowing its users to update their status and queries through web, IM, mobile etc. Now twittering has become an easy way to throw your status updates to your friends or followers.

Now twitter has launched a real time search facility, that can help you search about other user's updates based on your search key words. The special thing about the search facility is that, the search results can be updated in real-time. After serving you the search result, if some one make a status update which contains the search keywords, twitter will show you the number of new updates available and will ask you to refresh the result.

In light of this search facility in twitter eweek reported a possible threat to Google search. But, in my opinion twitter search will cannot be threat to Google search, as the twitter search shows the result only from the status updates available with the twitter by its users where as Google provides the result from the indexed information from pages in the web.

Firefox 3 gaining edge over Internet Explorer

The famous web statistics provider statcounter has launched a global statistics section which highlights the global internet usage statistics on the basis of web browser, operating system, mobile web browser, mobile phones and search engines.

In light of the statistics analyzed for last 7 months statcounter global statistics team has concluded that the usage of Firefox 3 is getting steadily increased when compared with the internet explorer usage. This is a very good news for all Firefox fans as well as Mozilla foundation. Firefox is fighting hard against the IE, in spite of the strong competition from Safari, Opera and Google chrome. See the chart below.

So those days are not so far, if Microsoft fails to keep IE users, for Firefox to dominate the web browser share.

You may say that, the "time to the market" play this favorite brand magic. But, its not just the time to the market but the quality and reliability of its products.

Most of the Nokia mobile phones are very robust, with easy user interface, good voice reproduction quality, and comes at an affordable price. And, all the basic mobile handsets from Nokia are extremely reliable even under tough physical situations. I have report from The Sun, which says about the Nokia mobile phone found from the belly of a Cod fish.

Read the article: Fisherman found my lost phone in the belly of a 25lb cod ...and it still works after a week in a fish.
