Add Mark as read button in your GMail Inbox

Google team believes in iterating their products with new features by keeping it  in beta for long time. Similarly strategy is played in GMail also with the introduction of GMail labs. GMail team is doing a great job by adding new features which not available in other mail service providers. They have gathered this feature proactively with respect to new market trends and also with the feedbacks of GMail users. There are lot of features getting added in GMail labs, and most of them are worth trying.

One thing I liked very much is adding "Mark as read" button in the GMail inbox. some other features are moving GMail chat to right side of your  GMail inbox, setting start and end dates for vacation responses in GMail, adding colorful superstars, adding your pics in GMail chat, a snake game etc.

Chrome not yet support Google Indic Transiteration

The new web browser from Google stable, has already made a wave of change in the internet. Since the Chrome is only in beta (like most of other Google products), it need to be improved very much with respect to its add-ons, plug-ins and local language and font support.


When I visited Google Indic transliteration page using Chrome, I happened to see the message saying that "Transliteration may not be supported on your browser". I was bit surprised, as the Google Chrome itself does not support its "fellow graduate", the Indic Transliteration. I wish to remind the Google chrome team, if they happened to miss this feature.

I also suggested him to remove the vista antivirus 2008 entry from startup files, using msconfig command, but in vain. Then I went on googling about the same issue. Later I understood from forums that the Vista Antivirus is a fraud software, what ever the infections claimed by them are fake, just for convincing people to by their product. A new dimension in cheating customers.

How to signout your GMail sessions remotely

Sometime we may forget to signout our GMail sessions after using them in Office or in a cybercafe. This may cause a serious problem, when some other people get access to your Google account. It is pretty simple to do. Just go to the bottom of your GMail inbox, then you will find a details link in the Last account activity section. Just click on the details link, then you will get a popup window which will show all the GMail sessions.
