IMEI stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity, which is the unique identification number given to each mobile handset. There are two ways to find out the IMEI number of a mobile phone.
Method 1: The first method is to find the IMEI number of a cell phone when it is switched on.
You need to press the keys,
*#06#
on you cell phone. Once you finish press these keys, the IMEI number of your cell phone will be displayed on the mobile display.
Method 2: The second method is to find the IMEI number when your mobile phone is switched off.
You need to remove the battery of your cell phone and you can find a sticker on the battery holding of your cellphone which carries the model number and IMEI number and manufacturing details of the cell phone.
